Day 10: 21 Days Foundation Dasting & Prayer 2025

Day 10 WED. 29TH JAN., 2025 

THERE IS A BATTLE YOU MUST FIGHT 

Galatians 5:16-17, 1Corinthians 9:26-27 

There is an ongoing, consistent and continuous battle between the spirit and the body or flesh. This is because what the human nature wants is different from what the spirit wants. Two of them are enemies. Many people today patronize sin by pleasing the demand of nature to their detriment. Human nature is overpowering the spirit and it is in negation of what the Lord wants from us. No wonder, St Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:27, that But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified" This can only be achieved through prayer, fasting, mortification and self discipline. You cannot manifest until you subdue the demands of human nature. It is because of the demands of human nature, that you commit various kinds of sins. Your prayer cannot be effective if you are living in sin as contained in the scripture Isaiah 59:1-3. This battle must be fought through prayer, mortification, meditation and studying the word of God. The battle must be total and exhaustive, if you must prevail. This is because when you are obeying the demands of human nature, your actions will be opposed to the will of God. Keep away from sin. It destroys you spiritually. It destroys your image and relationship with God. In Hebrews 9:27, it is recorded that it is appointed for man to die once and after, judgment comes. Beloved human nature dies, but the spirit does not die, therefore feed the spirit more than you feed the flesh: submit and give your life to God because there is a place you will go, when you die. This battle will continue until the day you will die. That day the battle between the spirit and body will end. Your spirit will face the judgment of God. Before the end of this program, you shall experience supernatural revival. There shall be revival in your life; revival in your family; revival in your business and revival in your situation. You are lifted. You shall be remembered. Your blessings shall not be truncated. You shall be vindicated, in the name of Jesus. 

PRAYER POINTS 

1. My father, by your mercy, grant me the grace to subdue my flesh and bring it under subjection, for your glory, in the name of Jesus. 

2. Lord, by your power, help me to feed my spirit better than my body, in the name of Jesus. 

3. My father, by your power, overthrow and destroy every power truncating the attainment of your purposes in my life, in the name of Jesus.
