Day 8: 21 Days Foundation Dasting & Prayer 2025

Day 8 MON. 27TH JAN, 2025 

DIVINE ENCOUNTER FOR TRANSFORMATION 

Acts 9:1-19, Luke 18:35-43, Luke 19:1-10 

Beloved, no one can encounter the Lord and remain the same. If you have an encounter with the Lord there must be evidence. There must be testimony. There must be rewriting of history, change, transformation, argumentative breakthrough and divine settlement. Stories must change and sorrow must end. In Acts 2:1-4. the Apostles encountered the Holy Spirit on the Pentecost and their lives were transformed as they received the Holy Spirit and empowered to preach the good news with great signs, wonders and miracles. On that day Peter preached to the crowd and three thousand believers were converted, baptized and added to the group. There are instances in the scripture where different people encountered the Lord and received instant healing and transformation. In Genesis 32:22-29, Jacob encountered and wrestled with the Angel of the Lord. He was blessed and the Angel changed his name from Jacob to Israel. In Matthew 9:20-22, the woman of the issue of blood, encountered the Lord and was instantly healed. The scripture recorded in Luke 19:1-9. Zacchaeus encountered the Lord and received salvation and transformation. In Luke 18:38-43 the blind Bathimeus encountered the Lord and his sight was restored. In John 5:1-9, the man who had been sick for thirty eight years encountered the Lord and was immediately healed. Also in Acts 9:1-19 Saul, encountered the Lord and was converted and his name was changed from Saul to Paul and later became an Apostle of the Lord. In Exodus 3:1-14 Moses encountered the Lord at a burning bush and was transformed and given a great assignment to deliver his people, Israel from bondage and slavery out of Egypt. In 1Kings 17:7-24 the widow of Zarephat encountered Elijah and was saved from being starved to death with his son and subsequently received the miracle of multiplication. In John 8:1-11 Mary Magdalene encountered the Lord and was saved from being stoned to death and her sins were forgiven. She was converted, transformed and later became a true disciple of Jesus. They are indeed too many to be enumerated. This is your time to testify. Before the end of this program, you shall be divinely visited, located, transformed and liberated. It is your time to shine. Your silent days are over. Your evil pursuers shall be located, extinguished and deactivated, in the name of Jesus. 

PRAYER POINTS 

1. Oh Lord, by your power, grant me an encounter with my divine helper and benefactor that will suddenly and instantly transform my life and situation positively, in the name of Jesus. 

2. Lord, by your mercy, locate me for good and end my story for your glory, in the name of Jesus. 

3. My father, every evil ministration, ministered in the air, land or sea working against my life and breakthrough be revoked and reversed, in the name of Jesus.
