Day 3: 21 Days Foundation Dasting & Prayer 2025

DAY 3 WEDNESDAY 22ND JAN, 2025 

A CALL TO REPENTANCE 

2 Chronicles 7:14, Isaiah 1:18, Jeremiah 8:4-6 

A call to repentance is synonymous to a call to change your way of life. A call to retrace your steps and come back to God if the path you are following is evil. In Jeremiah 8:4-5, the Lord told Isaiah to ask his people, why they abandoned him and refused to change. "Why then my people do you turn away from me without ever turning back? You cling to your idols and refused to return to me" Hear this, the world is transitory; it is like a stage; it is like a market place and one day you must be required to go back. You do not know the day your time on earth will expire and you will be required to go back to give account of how you lived your life on earth. Remember that the scripture says in Hebrews 9:27 And it is appointed unto Men once to die, but after this the judgement". If that happens, where are you going to spend your eternity? It is certain, evident and undebatable that a day is coming when you will leave this world and face the incorruptible judge. A day is coming when you will close your eyes, but will not be able to open it. A day is coming when all your money cannot save your life. Change your way of life, while there is still time. The decision is yours. In Isaiah 1:18, the Lord invites you for dialogue, adding that even if your sins are as red as scarlet that He is ready and willing to forgive you and wash away all your sins. Remember the case of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-24, who squandered his father's wealth and came back, when he came to his senses and asked for forgiveness. He was forgiven and a feast was celebrated for his coming back. Also, remember the case of Peter who denied Jesus three times and was very sorry when he got himself. You can do same as well. May the Lord have mercy on us. Before the end of this program, your sorrow and stagnation shall be over. Your shame and disgrace shall be terminated. You shall celebrate for your failures and unfruitfulness shall be transformed to success and overflowing prosperity in the name of Jesus. Your case is settled. 

PRAYER POINTS:

1. My Father, by your mercy forgive my sins and cancel the consequences in the name of Jesus. 

2. Lord, every foundational curses following me from my father side and mother side be cancelled by the potency of the blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus. 

3. My father, my father, whatever I have lost by my sins or the sins of my ancestors be recovered, restored and magnified by mercy in the name of Jesus.
