Day 5: 21 Days Foundation Dasting & Prayer 2025

DAY 5: FRIDAY 24TH JAN. 2025 

YOU WILL RECEIVE POWER WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES UPON YOU 

1Acts 1:8, Acts 4:29-31, Acts 2:1-4 

It is clear and unambiguous that everyone needs the Holy Spirit in order to succeed in whatever you are doing in life. Infact you are nothing and can achieve nothing without the Holy Spirit. You need him from the beginning to the end of all your endeavours and activities in life. The scripture recorded in 1Corinthians 12:3, that no one can say that Jesus is Lord without being guided by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is truly indispensable in our lives. Without him there is no alternative. The Holy Spirit gives courage and fortitude to withstand all challenges in life and situations. Simply put that, he directs and gives you unfailing insight in all things and puts everything in its true perspective. Evidently, the Holy Spirit sanctifies, purifies and beautifies. There is no defilement in the presence of the Holy Spirit. He sanctifies, renews all things and makes you holy, for without him, it is practicably impossible to maintain a life of righteousness and holiness. You cannot live the life of the spirit without the help of the Holy Spirit. He is the one that will give you the enablement to operate in your area of calling. He will teach you what to do: how to do it and when to do it, in order to achieve the desired result. In John 14:26, the Lord told his disciples that the helper, the Holy Spirit will teach them all things and remind them everything he has thought them. It is the Holy Spirit that gives power and boldness to testify and bear witness to the truth. Peter denied Jesus three times because he was afraid and by then, he had not received the Holy Spirit. The same Peter preached and three thousand believers were baptized and added to their number, when he received the Holy Spirit on pentecost day. The disciples could not preach the gospel until they received the Holy Spirit, therefore you need the Holy Spirit. Thirst for him; long for him: invite him into your life and situation. Before the end of this program, you will manifest. You will receive power. Power to preach the good news, power to convert and win souls for Christ: power to turn the world upside down like Paul; power to excel in your area of calling and power to succeed, prosper until you become exceedingly prosperous, in the order of Isaac, in the name of Jesus. 

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord, by your mercy and power grant me your Holy Spirit to lead and guide me in the way of my salvation, in the name of Jesus. 

2. My father by the power of your Holy Spirit locate and destroy every power that has vowed to bring me down, in the name of Jesus. 

3. Oh Lord my God, by the power of your Holy Spirit, deliver me from every demonic power working against my success, in the name of Jesus.
